Movement 

Movement generated through physical poses (Asana) helps facilitate flexibility, stamina, and strength. The poses also stimulate all of the major systems of the body including the digestive, endocrine, muscular, skeletal, and nervous systems.

 Mindfulness used in conjunction with breathwork (Pranayama) helps to create body awareness and aides in dealing with stress. There are many different types of breaths but the main purpose of each type is to unite your mind and body.

Hello and welcome to Infinite Lotus Yoga! My name is Renée Johnson and it is my mission to support you on your path to creating a more balanced state of mind and body through Movement, Mindfulness, and Meditation. I am a certified and registered Yoga Instructor with Yoga Alliance and a Yoga Nidra Facilitator who has practiced yoga for over 20 years. ​It is my goal to meet you wherever you are on your path and to never forget that this is YOUR journey.

Using Meditation to Manifest the Life you Desire

 Sunday, February 11th from 1:30- 3:30 pm at Gilbert Yoga 


Please join me for this fun and informative workshop. We will discuss how to use meditation to recognize your vision and demonstrate a step-by-step process to create specific goals in order to manifest the life you desire. Please bring a journal.

Class will end with a 30 minute guided meditation called Yoga Nidra.

Why the name Infinite Lotus Yoga? 

Infinite because we are constantly changing physically, mentally and emotionally.

Lotus because this magnificent flower is resilient enough to emerge from the muddy, murky waters from which it grows and manifest such beauty.

Often times we find that without having to fight through our own personal muddy waters (stressful, challenging, and transformational phases in our lives), the true beauty of our selves and our lives may never have been seen.  


Meditation, mindfulness, and movement through yoga can help us transition and navigate these waters more effectively,  confidently, and effortlessly.

Introduction to the Chakras 

 Sunday, March 11th from 1:30- 3:30 pm at Gilbert Yoga 


  Ever wonder what and where the chakras are and what they do? In this introduction workshop, we will discuss these topics, as well as how to use meditation, mantras, and breath work to open and align these vortexes of energy.  There will also be time for your questions.

Class will end with a 30 minute guided meditation called Yoga Nidra focusing on opening and aligning the chakras.

Meditation (Dyana) focuses the mind inward and creates calmness for the mind and balance for the body. Meditation can empower the mind and help us understand how stress affects the body. The use of guided meditations is often helpful in creating an environment for this balance to occur naturally.
